Resident professional Bryn Morris joined Kibworth in January 2008, having previously been PGA professional at Blackthorn Wood Golf Club
Bryn celebrated his move to Kibworth in style by winning the Leicestershire & Rutland Matchplay Championship in the summer of 2008, beating Whetstone's Craig Shave on the fourth extra hole. He'd previously held this title in 1987 when he beat Kibworth's European Senior Tour Professional Bob Larratt.
Bryn brings over 25 years teaching and shop management experience to Kibworth.
Specialising in Ping, Mizuno and Nike brands, Bryn can custom fit and supply woods and irons.
The professional's shop is always fully stocked with all the accessories that are essential for today's game, including trolleys, bags, shoes and a full range
of clothing all at competitive prices.
In addtion to Bryn, the club recently developed the role and position of specialist Academy Coach, engaging in 2010, Joe Wilson.
Also a PGA Level 3 Coach with a Diploma in Sports Psychology, Joe joins the club from Wellinborough via a two year peiod in Australia and the Far East. Coaching many of of the juniors, Joe is also well equiped with both the skill, patience and humour to help everyone quickly improve their game.
Kibworth has excellent practice facilities, including a 300 yard driving range with grass and covered bays, a bunkered chipping green and putting green, so all aspects of the game can be covered.
Bryn is ably assisted in the shop by the ever cheerful Joe along with Jack Dunkley over the summer while he studies golf and management at Lincoln University.
