Visitors who are members of a Golf Club affiliated to a County Union or recognised Golfing Society are invited to play our course.

You may play 18 holes or purchase a day ticket, but please check the Club Diary to ensure that the tee is available prior to your visit. You may not play in competitions, except open and invitation events.

The appropriate green fee must be paid, prior to commencing your round and a green fee tag must be displayed at all times.

We are pleased to accept 2-Fore-1, Open Fairways (Daily Telegraph), and Greenfree incentive vouchers against our day rate. The L&GRU County Card may be used against our appropriate 18 hole rate.

Electric Ride On Buggies are available to hire , please reserve with the Pro Shop in advance on 0116 2792301

Rounds may not commence before 8:30 am Monday to Friday (14:00 on Tuesdays)  and 11:00 am on Weekends.

This March through May we are runnng a special green fee and food promotion - Swing Into Spring - at just £29 per player, click for more details.

Before and after your game you will be made very welcome in the clubhouse bar and dining room. 

Finally, we are sure that you will apprec iate that we have codes relating to dress and etiquette both on and around the course and in the clubhouse, which we ask you to observe.

 

We are also able to accommodate Societies and Corporate Groups, offering a full Hosting, Golf and Dining service.

Etiquette

Members and visitors must use the locker rooms for changing clothes and shoes and not the car park.

Membership and green fee tags must be attached to bags and easily seen at all times.

Tee pegs must be used on all tees.

Practicing on the course is not permitted.

Mobile phones may not be used on the course or in the clubhouse. The exception is to make an emergency 999 call.

Members guests paying a concessionary rate may only play the course six times per annum at that rate.

In the absence of special rules, two ball matches have precedence over and are entitled to pass any three and four ball matches.

 

Dress

   Clubhouse

Clubhouse dress code is smart / casual at all times, except when participating in an official club function or team match.

Smart / casual is defined as leisure wear of a smart and clean nature.

The following are not considered suitable ~ Cargo trousers, tracksuits, t-shirts, football type shirts, tight leggings, trainers and any type of headwear.

Ripped, faded, workwear or dirty clothing is not permissable.

During warm weather tailored shorts may be worn in the clubhouse.

Socks are not required when wearing sandals or deck shoes.

   Course

Recognised golf shoes must be worn.

Clothing must be smart and clean. Shirts must have a collar and sleeves or be turtle neck.

Socks must be worn with shorts, either knee- length of a suitable colour or white ankle socks.

The following are not permissable: denim jeans, all shorts other than tailored, football type shirts, cargo trousers, tracksuits, t-shirts, tight leggings and ankle socks other than white.
